F.S.C craft product that me Wilson and Mitch have been creating. It has been hard work but we have done it I have used cope. I used persistence I did not give up when it got hard I just kept working. We tested them some of them broke but most of them they did not brake so that was good.

When I have used grit

The meaning of grit?
Grit is persistence and resilience it means if something is hard or you think it is impossible you still give it your best shot. Pretend you fall of your bike you get up and and keep trying and don't give up.
When I have used grit at school:
At school when we first started using number lines for working out maths problems. I found it confusing and really hard and combating. I knew when I have worked out how to use number lines it will be way easier to work out the maths problems. I was getting frustrated because I could not get how to use number lines I was so close to just giving up and not worrying about it. But no I said to myself I am going to do this in a matter of seconds I just got it yes I yelled out.

what I am learning this week

This week I am learning to use place value to solve subtraction problems. It's is really really hard I still have not got it yet but I think I will get it soon. I won't give up if I give up I will not learn it I am using cope and c of cope curios I am getting really curios so I can get it. When I am struggling I need to ask for help not just think I can do it.

My hook writing

Man I was going quick bang my foot was crushed by my motocross bike. I smashed into this pole sticking up it was a massive thump. It was really slippery because it rained but I forgot it rained so I crashed quite bad.    
This week we did some hook writing. Hook writing is when you hook the audience in on the first few sentences and keep them hooked through the hole entire story. The story up above that is mine and I did a hook story.

this week i have to learnt to show not tell in a witting. First i did not understand how to show it in a story because you cant show it. but then i clicked you actually can do it i tried it it was easier than i thought. i used cope i used open mined and i was really curios about it.

Maths this week

This week i have learnt to multiply using place value. It was really hard at first but I did not give up I finally got it. I used persistence and open minded a lot.

Len Lye task

Len Lye center

I hopped out of the bus into the chilly frosty air, excited to go into the new Len Lye centre. I walked in there was a quick change of temperature. I was really Desperate to go see the technical sculptures that people have designed.

 We walked of to the awesome sculptures the one that fascinated me the most would probably be the universe. I love the universe  because the sound and how the stainless steel bends. When I first saw the universe move I thought it was going to roll of the table. But I realized there was a metal plate holding it so it did not roll of.

Smoothness 8/10 The smoothness is great. It runs like a real race car.

Graphics 9.5 the graphics are absolutely awesome. It's looks so realistic when you first look at the car you think it is a real car.

Multiplayer 10/10  multiplayer is a challenge and intense. You travel high speeds through the exciting new tracks. You bash and smash and crunch together trying to get the win. You aim for the hole shot at the start and try to keep that hole shot through the wholgame.

Questions after the nyld


What did you think of NYLD 2015. Give your opinion and reasons why you hold these opinions (at least 4 sentences). I found it really cool and exciting. I found it really exciting because the speakers were really enter resting. I liked the drive to there and back.


Who was your favourite speaker and why? (Describe in at least 4 sentences). I liked William pike because he loved the outdoors and I love the outdoors to. Some of the stuff that he talked about I loved it too. So I got really hooked in to his speech.


What have you learnt about being a leader? (At least 4 sentences). I have learnt that you have to be really responsible for your own actions and stuff. You have to pay a lot of attention to instructions and other important stuff.


How could you use this learning here at school? (At least 4 sentences). You could listen to the teacher and pay attention to other students. Be respectable to students that op roach you

My writing goal

My writing goal is to put full stops and capital letters in my writing. I have improved by using cope I used persistence I did not give up. I kept doing writing until I got it I put full stops in my last writing  I did about 95% I did pretty good. I got 95% because I was to hooked in to my writing not about my full stops and capital letters. My goal is to get every single capital letter and every full stop.

It was a hot day when blue dached out of bed he went to get blue the monster/robot. We went riding at this farm track. It was crowed on the big track. There was a big track and a little track. The little riders like us went on the little track. It was not to crowed on the little track. It was awesome I was passing a lot of people on the track. Jackson was there he was going xtrmeley quick. It rained for a bit we got really muddy. My cassens were there and some of my friends. There were quick riders on the big track and the little track. There was a hill climb on the little track and the big track. I was wheel spinning a lot up the hill. My brother Patch I was going up the hill behind him he flick a hole lot of mud and dirt up at me. I was racing my cassens and some of my friends.

This week we did some maths. You had to share 6 wafers with 4 people. I used cope I used a lot of persistence . I did not give up I just thought about it and I got it. I used persistence because i really wanted to get the answer. I felt like giving up because i failed it the first time. I tried it again and i got the answer.

Barrett road motorcross track

We went to barrett road motorcross track in the weekend. We met Jackson and Callum there it was Callum's first time at barrett road. Jackson   has got a ktm 50 and Callum has got a Yamaha ttr 50.
They  were jumping extrlmey good. When I was going up to the step up jump. I over cleared the landing pad. BANG I was going farrer than patch and Deno a metre farrier.

Camp Te ara

Hi lim going to camp on Tuesday and ilm not nervous And I'lm really excited .the last camp I did not go to it because we were busy .I can't wait for the activates .like the water slide. and other activities .my dad is coming so that's good. I hope I am in a good group. in my cabin.    I no a lot of people that are in my activiy group. I hope we do the mud run  because that would be ALOT of FUN.the thing that will be quite scary would be the possums because possums are scary looking things. I can't wait for the free time because then you can basically pick what you want to do. And really fun   (Water slide here)

Nitro circus

We went to nitro circus it was really awesome it was in Hamilton there was not a lot of crashes one of my favourite   Thing was when 4 people came out of the crowed and the 4 people hopped on the motorbike and they went for a back flip the landed it on fell of the back but he was not hurt and some body got piggy backed down the ramp and did a back flip on a bike and the snow mobeil it was cooooool!!!!!!
